This story is Fictional for this website demo. I was raised on a working farm in Missouri, where I learned the importance of perseverance and integrity. My father, a retired member of the armed forces, instilled in me a strong sense of discipline—values that guided me through life. At 16, my family relocated to Virginia, and after graduating high school, I enlisted in the U.S. Navy. During my service, I earned the rank of E-5 before receiving an honorable discharge.
After my military career, I moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where I worked in construction while attending college. I later joined the Department of Justice, graduating second in my class from the Federal Law Enforcement Academy. After three years with the DOJ, I returned to the construction industry and, in 1992, received the prestigious Seattle Master Builders’ “Kitchen of the Year” award.
Seeing an opportunity to help people navigate real estate more effectively, I became a mortgage loan officer specializing in renovation financing. This path led me to become a certified home inspector, a HUD/FHA construction consultant, and a licensed real estate agent. Over the last 30 years, I have:
